either greeted with a smile or a sigh, valentines day is a day which, although may have good intentions, usually ends up stabbing us in the chest region. and by us i don’t just mean lay-dees. i feel valentines day has the ability to screw even the most upbeat of people.

so being the first month of the new year, and a glorious summer, one should be partying like a salacious libertine no?! new years eve, australia day, musical festivities, birthday festivities…there’s no shortage of events to get loose like vlad. but sadly, i have not been very hedonistic of late. money has unfortunately become my nemesis, and thus, working has become the priority – DESPITE not actually working more. i figure, if i stop spending, the money will come. its been successful so far.
thankfully, english lads THE RAKES understand how i feel. sadly, they broke up late last year. but their first album capture/release is still awesome.
sadly, i earn nowhere near this much.
