apologetic.

i think we can all agree that university oftentimes just causes problems. Problems for one’s social life, problems for one’s working schedule, problems for one’s sanity…the list simply goes on and on.

Having said that, i do apologise for my complete and utter LACK of posting in recent weeks. University is the answer to that. I haven’t had much time or motivation (after having completed said university work) to post some new/old/delicious musical tidbits. But you can all rest assured that what with a two week break ahead, there will be plenty of word nourishment to go round. especially considering all the wonderful musical delights i’ve seen! stay tuned.

For now though, let’s all get THOROUGHLY excited. new tame impala – HUZZAH!

It’s always such a relief to know that people in your town can make decent music. It feels even better when those said people make incredible music and put on a phenomenal live show. THE SHINY BRIGHTS are those said people. without a doubt.

Their explosive sophomore EP launch on friday night showcased a number of adelaide’s finest musical entrepreneurs, including 20th CENTURY GRADUATES and JIMMY AND THE MIRRORS, and it was cause for celebration. south australia might be known for something other than bringing the HILLTOP HOODS to the forefront! i thought jovially.
